And Even More Gretchen Rossi

From some who knows the situation (and believe me it is way more people than just the "two in the relationship")it was a total heartbreak to watch that contrived mess last night. Jeff looked terrible and was not the person we remember. He was a jovial man with a booming deep voice, and the little frail sickly man that the world saw was NOT Jeff. He came across as a zombi-like person that was doped up. And, my guess is that he was doped up. My God, much of last night's footage was filmed on Memorial weekend when he was five months into chemotherapy treatment. With what amounts to him having no immune system due to the heavy chemo, he should not have been traipsing across the country with a film crew in his face for the sake of entertainment for a reality tv show. It was pathetic and so hard to fathom that Jeff was a willing participant. If I was so crazy about him and he were my "prince charming" I certainly would have put his health first above my wanna be career! Is it just me? Really, I would challenge any of his true friends that may read this blog to jump in here .... didn't your heart just break?

So, Jeff breaks up a marriage, gets and pays for the girl he wants, has no idea how to stick to his marriage vows, dumps his michigan family and that means Gretchen is a whore?!
Jeff was no innocent lamb. He is guilty of the same "crimes" which you accuse Gretchen.

Two wrongs don't make a right. It is clear that she cheated on her husband. It is clear that Gretchen did not truly love Jeff. How could you be engaged to a man and have a secret boyfriend on the side? Let's focus on Gretchy shall we? If you were a housewife, would you want a lying woman like that to be part of YOUR social circle? If you were a respected business person would you want her to endorse your products? Host your charity events? Not me.

I agree with the "innocent lamb" remark. I also knew Jeff, not obviously as personally as some of the posters here. However, my husband worked for him for many years. He ran his company into the ground while he was running around chasing skirts! Jeff's sorted little life was like a soap opera among his work family. He was not envied, he was made a joke of. Many of us met his wives and girlfriends here in Michigan (and there were lots of them!). Jeff always had a woman with him. One never knew who the wife or lady of the day/hour would be. Why single out Gretchen? She was the only one obviously smart enough to capitalize on it. Wonder when some of the other women will start to come out of the woodwork. Maybe they have already anonymously done so here on this blog? From watching the show last night, sadly his life ended the same way he led it. Pitifully. Hard living catches up with you eventually! (Not say, though, that anyone deserves to be stricken with leukemia. Some of us, however, may take a diagnosis like as this as a reality check, not a reality show!)

Thanks for the insight. The only reason we're singling out Gretchen is because she's the one putting out a fictitious fairy-tale love story with a tragic ending casting herself as the Mother Teresa. I just saw the BRAVO video-extra where Gretchen was the aggressor sniping at Jeff's daughter Jill about laundry and getting a job while Jeff lay on the couch too exhausted to get up or intervene. For crying out loud, it's Jeff's money, the girl has a mother, and if she wants advice, she will ask for it. Let her move out and learn about reality on her own.
Don't bring her back for Season 5.

Yes, Jeff's life was a true soap opera.... Better than any writers could ever come up with. It's sad that he never learned from all of his mistakes with women; Women were his down fall. I've known Jeff long enough to know, he didn't look like himself in the show; Very underweight, extremely quiet, you can tell his illness has taken a toll on him. It's sad that he's being exploited... Yes, expolited. The man was terminally ill, I'm sure he was always drugged up, which is why he probably agreed to do this silly show in the first place.
as for the comment above "Why single out Gretchen she was the only one obviously smart enough to capitalize on it." Hmmmm, That should be a HUGE Red light.... She was the one using him, unlike his ex wife's or other women in his life... She had an agenda, unlike the others. Gretchen has no self-respect, wants to be in the spot light, has NO integrity, values, or morals. It's obviously the almighty buck supersedes all else... She's a looser.

Did you see the way that bitch spoke to Jeff's 19 yr old daughter.... Telling her to get a job to pay for the new car she wanted...... ROFL, Gretchen is ONLY 11 years older than the daughter AND hasn't worked in YEARS, who's she to say for one to get a job! She doesn't/hasn't worked for all the $$$$$$$$$$$$ goodies she's received from Jeff!

I agree it is horrible and Gretchen is coming off like a loving caretaker on the show. Everyone needs to blog on her Bravo site and let viewers/fans know the truth.
