Of course, most fans who have followed the Real Housewives of Orange County over the last few years know that her cosmetics are manufactured by Lady Burd Cosmetics, and anyone can have it……just sign on the dotted line, and Lady Burd will slap your name on the products. Gretchen was recently fired from the Real Housewives of Orange County because the focus groups Bravo TV uses to tell “what time it is” for their various RH’s said time was up for Gretchen and Housewife Hunter Slade Smiley, who “played” her fiancé for the last four seasons.

If you click through the collection, most pieces have only one item left in stock….for her skin color. Luckily for Gretchen, LadyBurd dumped her months ago.

Gretchen Rossi Denies She Was Fired From RHOC

Gretchen Rossi is vehemently denying that she was fired from, or “not asked back” to the Real Housewives of Orange County.  She was attending a charity auction in Los Angeles, auditioning off those plastic-looking handbags of hers, when she talked to a reporter.  Gretchen, 36, implied she left on her own, despite the claims by Vicki Gunvalson and Lydia McLaughlin, who really did leave on her own, that she had indeed been fired by Bravo TV.

Oh, and Slade Smiley also.

According to the reporter:

 

She made it very clear that headlines saying she’s been axed by Bravo are false. Gretchen implied that the decision is hers to make, but it sounds like she’s leaning towards leaving.

Her costars Tamra Barney, Heather Dubrow and Vicki Gunvalson have already started shooting a new season. So what could be the holdup on Gretchen? I got that scoop too!

It must have something to do with the pack of reality TV cameras she points out to me in the video. They followed her around all night and I noticed one of them had on a badge that said Marriage Bootcamp. It’s a WEtv spin-off of Bridezillas and could mean nothing. But Gretchen is engaged to Slade Smiley. I grilled a different cameraman outside and he said the network attached to Gretchen’s project isn’t Bravo, and she is starring but it isn’t all about her.

 

WEtv?  A much smaller venue, but for Gretchen and Slade, being seen on TV is the prime concern. No wonder she’s auctioning off those crappy handbags. After a Bravo TV salary of over $150,000, plus whatever they threw in for Slade, she’ll be lucky to clear $50K on WEtv.

Slade Smiley’s Latest “Venture”

Just what South Africa needs, a pyramid scheme to steal money from retirees and widows. Oh well, at least he’s out of the country for a while…

How Slade Smiley got hooked up with this particular scheme we will probably never know, nor will we know what his role is, probably at a low level with a high level of ass-kissing involved.

Gretchen Rossi, his “fiance” and financier on the Real Housewives of Orange County tweeted last week that he had a new job in South Africa. The Baylor University alumnus (so she says) didn’t know it takes a day to get to South Africa, she hadn’t heard from him and was worried. I’m sure Baylor is proud!

Looks like Andy Cohen will let the botox fly on the Real Housewives of Orange County Season 8 reunion, set to air in three parts on Bravo TV Monday.

The Tamra Barney/Gretchen Rossi détente has ended, as predicted, as Tamra refuses to cover Gretchen’s lies about her relationship with Jay Photoglou when she was supposedly engaged to Jeff Beitzel.

Gretchen was seen by all the RH’s during Season 4 as her storyline was her dying fiance, yet she was cavorting and canoodling with Jay, who thought they had a real relationship and he would soon be on TV. After Tamra outed the relationship at the Season 4 reunion, Gretchen dumped Jay and took up with Slade Smiley, friend and ex-neighbor of original RHOC creator Scott Dunlop. This caused years of litigation, porn pics of Gretchen published by Nik Ritchie on theDirty, with Gretchen finally winning a $500,000 judgment against Jay.

Of course, pathological liar Gretchen uses this as proof that Jay was a lying stalker. Yes, Gretchen everyone now believes you……and your tearless crying.

Other highlights from the “First Look”.  Turns out Vicki and Donn Gunvalson are not divorced, he, however, is quoted as saying “he wouldn’t get back with Vicki if monkeys flew out of his ass” or something like that.  Donn is fighting for spousal support, so the divorce proceedings are at a standstill. Vicki sure knows how to create problems for herself, doesn’t she? Her biggest problem right now being that psychopath son-in-law of hers, Ryan Culberson.

At some point during the reunion, Lauri Waring Peterson sits down……we can only hope that one of the women ask her where Josh’s daughter is. Josh Waring and his wife gave birth to a drug-addicted child last December who went into withdrawal soon after Lauri tweeted about the birth. The child has been a ward of the State of California ever since. Lauri did not take in her grandchild.

Gretchen Rossi’s “house of cards” has been tumbling this season  like a snowball down a hill. Now it’s more like an avalanche, as her lies and subterfuges become more and more apparent.

Lady Burd Cosmetics, the branding company Gretchen uses for private labeling for her GretchenChristine.com cosmetics line, reportedly will no longer send her any stock, because her profits are filtered through Slade Smiley’s Paypal account. Scandalous!  Someone must have complained.

This is old news, they have been using this subterfuge to give Slade money so Michelle Arroyo, the mother of Grayson Smiley, his young son with terminal cancer, couldn’t come after him for support.

In the meantime, reports coming from the Season 8 reunion, taped July 10, imply that not only was Vicki Gunvalson on the hotseat, but so was Gretchen. It may be true, because Slade Smiley, who has always been nasty on twitter, has been in rare form lately:

For those who don’t know the story, Gretchen moved Slade into her Costa Mesa home shortly after the Season 4 reunion, when Tamra outted her relationship with Jay.  Problem?  Jay still had his belongings in the house, and after many angry exchanges, Jay posted all those nasty pictures of Gretchen on the ‘net.

At the reunion, she apparently attempted to prove she really did graduate from Baylor University, since it’s so difficult to believe she’s a college graduate. A poster on TWOP says it best:

If Gretchen really did graduate from Baylor with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and will be displaying her diploma at the reunion, I'll be shocked. Baylor is a fairly conservative Baptist university, and the current annual tuition is about $30k. It hardly seems like a good fit for old Gretchen Christine. Did Jeff pay her tuition!

And since she couldn't even articulate that she meant that Vickie was projecting not personifying her feelings, I would imagine the Psychology department wants to erase all evidence that she was ever there.

As I read through Slade Smiley’s recent tweets, I became curious about The Beckstrand Organization the cancer charity Slade and Gretchen work with.  Grayson Smiley has his own foundation, amazinggray.org. Gretchen and Slade seem to have nothing to do with that. As a matter of fact, Slade once had a Grayson website, but he took it down.

Of course, the Beckstrand Organization has highly publicized events, with plenty of glitz and glam….. could that be it?

Lydia McLaughlin Steps Into A Pile of Slade

And comes out smelling like a rose.

“A more cohesive alignment with reality”  Seems newcomer Lydia Stirling McLaughlin actually went to school and learned, unlike the other “Real Housewives” living in the Orange Bubble.

Lydia, from Newfoundland, where the Stirling family practically owns the media, is able to balance shit stirring in such a way that it never offends her castmates…so far.

Lydia’s bone structure is that of a naturally thin person, but Slimy Slade Smiley just couldn’t help commenting on her looks.  What a piece of shit he is!!!  Thanks for the edit, Bravo!

He loudly whispered to girlfriend Gretchen Rossi that he should call her cheeseburger, because she looked like she needed a cheeseburger. It was the way he said it - snarky, hateful, slimy, the usual Slade - and that he said it just loud enough for her to hear and feel excluded and belittled.

But not Lydia. She confronted him on what he said… and boom! Did you see the look on Slimy douchebag’s face?  Slade is never called on his shit, there is no accountability for his actions. And Gretchen sounded like an utter fool as she tried to defend him.  When Lydia said, “ I see who you are” Slade was so taken aback.

It's not what Slade said that upset me so much. It is his history of putting down other women's appearances publicly. Last year he called Tamra too fat and he's made fun of Vicki'snose. Now he's going after me at my own party!?! Who died and made him the appearance police? It's just not OK, which is why I called him out on it. And, for Gretchen to say I'm making a big deal out of nothing just showed me how insensitive she is. Maybe love is blind, but I can't image my husband Doug ever acting like that. Men should be lifting woman up -- not critiquing our appearance.

Lydia did her homework before she joined this show.  And mama Judy?  What a bonus!  So good to see someone not fitting the Orange County mold.

Lydia, 31, was Andy Cohen’s guest last night on Watch What Happens, Live!. Her mother Judy Stirling was the bartender, but she didn’t bring her ganja with her, LOL.

In Part 1 of the Slade Smiley story, I left off where Tamra Barney outted Gretchen Rossi's relationship with Jay Photoglou at the Season 4 reunion.  Well, needless to say, that relationship did not end well.

Two weeks after the Season 4 reunion aired, Jay went to Gretchen's house to remove his belongings. He was refused admittance, but Slade's car was there. ( Gretchen works fast)  Jay called the Costa Mesa Police Department to have them assist him in obtaining entrance to Gretchen's home. The police ran Slade's license plate and bingo! Not only was he driving illegally, but he owed so much in child support that he was arrested immediately!

None of this stopped Slade's determination to return to the show! After the reunion, Tamra and Gretchen went to war, and Jay brought defamation  lawsuit after lawsuit against Gretchen.

So who shows up for Season 5 playing Gretchen Rossi's new love? You guessed it.  I don't know if this is because of Scott Dunlop, the executive producer of RHOC, his old friend from his Coto de Caza days, or because Gretchen needed a storyline.  Whatever the reason, ol' slimey Slade has been a regular ever since.

Until recently, he acted mostly as Gretchen's pimp manager, following her around to personal appearances etc., Now he has a one day a week job as some sort of radio personality at a Los Angeles station. Hopefully, he's paying some of the child support owed to his terminally ill son Grayson's mother, Michelle Arroyo.

He's become an anachronism in his own lifetime, with even Bravo TV dubbing him an "honorary housewife".

Of course, he and Gretchen will have the same old tired storyline, about marriage and babies, ignoring the fact that he had a vasectomy years ago. That perhaps being the smartest thing he ever did.

The Gretchen Rossi / Tamra Barney No Longer BFFs

We knew it wouldn't last. Many regarded the "detente" between Gretchen Rossi and Tamra Barney during Season 7 of the Real Housewives of Orange County as fake, done for the good of their storylines, and used as a vehicle to attack Alexis Bellino.

The truce was of more benefit to Gretchen,  in an attempt to get Tamra to STFU about her life with Jeff Beitzel and Jay Photoglou, not to mention the phony hook-up with Slade Smiley.

Tamra allegedly slammed Gretchen's character and her singing ability to a local Orange County blogger.   This is Gretchen's reply:

 

“I was surprised to hear she questioned the friendship she has with me. Her and I talk often and I certainly did not know she felt this way, however I’m not naive to the fact that we had some hiccups this season as all friendships do. I think I have realized with her that when you call her out about things she goes on the attack and lashes back at you. This season she was texting me one thing about a situation, but on camera displaying another. I’m just a straight shooter, I don’t talk out both ends of my mouth. So I asked her on camera what the deal was and how come she was texting me one thing but doing another, needless to say that didn’t go over very well and things got a little weird with us for a minute, but I thought we worked through it and were back on good terms. Perfect example is this interview with you guys, when I asked her about it she texted me it was all BS and you guys completed manipulated the story, but then you guys said you have voice recordings of her saying this about me, so as anyone would feel, sometimes it’s hard to know what the truth is. However as a friend I want to give her the benefit, so I have to believe her.             source

Jay Photoglou Loses to Gretchen Rossi, Demands Re-Trial

In case you missed it….

In the seemingly never ending saga of Jay Photoglou versus Gretchen Rossi, Photoglou, whose picture should be in the dictionary under the word persistence, just lost a round in court when he attempted to revive the defamation lawsuit against Rossi.

Gretchen, of the Real Housewives of Orange County, was having an affair with Photoglou when her storyline was her engagement to Jeff Beitzel, who passed away in September, 2009. At the explosive Season 4 reunion, Tamra Barney called her out on the affair, and Gretchen dumped Photoglou immediately and took up with Slade Smiley, who was only too happy to get back on the series.

After years of accusations back and forth, Gretchen won the case, to the tune of $500,000 last November.

Jay, in his latest court action, tried to have the judgment thrown out, asserting the jury was "star struck" by Gretchen, and he's just a lowly used car salesman.

The judge tossed the petition…and Photoglou, out,upholding the jury verdict.

Lauri Waring, George Peterson and Twitter Gossip

A persistent rumor and frequent search on this website is the breakup of the marriage of Lauri Waring Peterson, formerly of the Real Housewives of Orange County, and George Peterson.

The marriage was the finale episode for Season 3.

During Season 4, Lauri quit the series. There was so much negative publicity about this couple that the Orange County Register had to change the way they handled comments on it's website, and Frank Mickadeit, a reporter at the paper, stopped writing about the Real Housewives. Message boards TWOP and FORT erased most of the first three seasons comments.

Why so much negative publicity? George Peterson got custody of three of his four children by ex-wife Gina Peterson, and evicted her from her Dana Point home.  The drama took place in the Orange County Courts while the show was airing. Talk about a backstory!  Everyone, including the viewers, took sides in the drama. If Bravo TV ran storylines in the manner they do today, all of this would have been on air. This was before Andy Cohen took over, changing the direction of the franchise.

In addition, Lauri 's son Josh Waring  was out of control, and many viewers didn't agree with the way she put his problems on front street. And there were other problems…….

The manner in which the children of the self-described "Brady Bunch" was once more called into question when George sent his daughter Bria Peterson away to boarding school and Gina, her mother, declared her missing.

Fans will get to see Lauri on the upcoming season of the show, which is currently in the final stages of filming season eight.

The divorce rumors could have started because of tweet Lauri sent out yesterday as a joke. “Should I take it personal that my hubby George just sang Taylor Swift's "I knew you were trouble when you walked in" to me,” Lauri tweeted. While many of her followers noted that the song choice was better than Taylor Swift's lyrics “we are never ever getting back together,” it is possible that someone thought the couple was in trouble.

With the pressures they are under with the impending wedding of Tamra Barney and Eddie Judge, on camera for Season 8, the break up of Vicki Gunvalson and Brooks Ayers, the birth of Briana Wolfsmith aand Ryan Culberson's baby boy, and a new woman introduced into the cast,  Lydia Stirling McLaughlin they had to come up with something to say. How many times have they put out a variation of this story?

Gretchen recently won a $500,000 award in Jay Photoglou's lawsuit against her for defamation….enough to buy a couple of surrogates (smile). But, did Slade Smiley ever get that vasectomy reversal he was seeking several years ago?  Hmmmmmm…….

Gretchen is so on board to get married now that she is even considering taking things into her own hands to make it happen.

"I might not [ask him to marry me], but I’m just saying you never know. I kind of have a wild hair up my ass. I’m just saying a guy doesn’t always have to do it. He can still do it, but maybe I might too. I don’t know, but if [he] doesn't something soon, I might have to!"

In the meantime, Slade still struggles to pay child support for 11 year old Grayson Smiley, who recently endured another surgery to debulk his inoperable brain tumor.

Jay Photoglou Wins the Latest Round Against Gretchen Rossi

Four years after the Real Housewives of Orange County Season 4 reunion, when the shit hit the proverbial fan between Jay and Gretchen, the years of litigation between the two of them may finally be over.

Gretchen Rossi  is a half-million dollars richer today, thanks to an Orange County, California Superior Court jury The Real Housewives of Orange County star was awarded $523,250 in her lawsuit against former boyfriend Jay Photoglou

In a storyline that could have been right out of her Bravo reality show, Rossi sued her ex-lover in 2010, claiming defamation and assault, battery, stalking and breach of contract. A judge later threw out the defamation claim, but let the others proceed.

At one point Photoglou countersued, claiming defamation and Rossi ended up having to pay him $40,000 for his legal fees.

Sad News About Slade Smiley’s Son

Michelle Arroyo, the mother of Slade Smiley’s younger son Grayson, 11, who was diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer at the age of 5, and appeared on the first season of the Real Housewives of Orange County, has been denied a needed surgery by the State of California.

Michelle tweeted:

Verdict is in...the state has officially denied Gray's surgery. Problem with that is we don't have time on our side. His pain is getting worst and so we cannot start chemo which is going to cause more pain and also make us unable to get the necessary decompression surgery to relieve pressure.

Where is Slade, who recently got a reduction in the monthly amount of child support he pays, but still owes about $100,000 in back child support?

It is so good to see Grayson Smiley, 12, doing well.  The youngest son of Slade Smiley, one of the Real Housewives of Orange County  (he may as well be) has inoperable brain cancer.   He is the child in the midst of the Slade Smiley  child support controversy.  Smiley recently received a reduction in his monthly payments, but still owes about $100,000 in back child support. He “plays” the role of Gretchen Rossi’s boyfriend on the series.

Paris Hilton is the niece of Kyle Richards and Kim Richards of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Never go to RadarOnline seeking truth, but the stories take the pulse of the most recent RH publicity stunts.

Interesting this story came out the day after the season 7 reunion of the Real Housewives of Orange County was filmed.  Give us a hint at what happened there.  Did the other ladies have a go at Gretchen Rossi for continuing to support Slade?  Andy Cohen claimed he was “attacked” at the reunion on twitter yesterday, was it about paying Slade Smiley  in Gretchen’s name so Slade doesn’t have to declare income to the courts, seeking back child support for 11 year old Grayson Smiley, his child with brain cancer?

Or is Bravo threatening to get rid of Gretchen if she doesn’t come up with a better storyline? This season, between the PussyCat Dolls torture and the “my man ain’t got not job” story, Gretchen had nada.

Of course, there’s always the Jay Photoglou true storyline, with them constantly back and forth in court, this time possibly involving her cast mates:

The Real Housewives of Orange County stars have been a couple for years, but the gorgeous Real Housewife has had it with her unemployed boyfriend.

“Gretchen is growing tired of taking care of Slade and paying for everything in his life and she’s just about had it,” a source close to the blonde bombshell told RadarOnline.com.

“She is supporting him and helping to pay his legal bills and it’s getting to be too much for her. Gretchen is seriously considering ending the relationship because she’s sick of doing everything for Slade.”

While cracks in their relationship have been showing this season on their reality show, the source said that the execs at the network want him out of her life too.

“The folks at Bravo hate them together and they don’t want Gretchen to date Slade anymore,” the source says. "He really adds nothing to her life and is more of a leach than an asset."

However, Gretchen, who recently rocked a sparkling bikini on the red carpet, is trying not to let people know about her troubles with Slade and is fighting to keep a lid on her relationship woes until the very moment SHE is ready to pull the plug once and for all.

“Gretchen is publicly supporting Slade and continues to defend him and their crumbling relationship, but behind the scenes she’s admitting to friends that she’s not happy doing what she’s doing with him.

"And why would she be happy? Let's look at the facts here -- Gretchen is incredibly successful, she's bright, she's funny and she is a total knockout. What on Earth does Slade bring to the table, or the relationship for that matter?"

Second Update 428/12:  Alexis Bellino has been called in by Jay Photoflood's attorneys to give a deposition in the case.

If you recall, Gretchen and Jay went boating with the Belino’s in 2008, shortly after Jeff Beitzel’s death, before Alexis was cast on the Real Housewives of Orange County.  Jay released a photograph of them, together on the boat.

Can you imagine Alexis lying to cover up for Gretchen? I can’t either.

I’d bet money Jo de la Rosa regrets becoming involved with Slade Smiley, and subsequently, Gretchen Rossi.

After she leaves him, he gets his revenge by having Gretchen buy Jo’s music catalog. Jo now has no publisher, by her own choice.

Now, one of Gretchen’s messes rears it’s ugly head: The depositions in the Jay Photoglou vs. Gretchen Rossi trial.

Slade Smiley Attacked!

Anyone else would be embarrassed, but not our intrepid Housewife slayer Slade Smiley!  I don’t know how a bill collector caught up with him (who sent the bill collector?) but it was a good way for the general public to learn about his youngest son Grayson Smiley, 11, who has had brain cancer since he was six years old. He was with Gretchen Rossi, his “unemployment check” as he referred to her in a recent episode of the Real Housewives of Orange County.

Slade probably took it as “just another photo op”.

The "Real Housewives of Orange County" couple had just stepped off a red carpet in Hollywood last night when the bill collector jumped out and shouted at Slade, "Pay your child support! Your son has cancer."
Slade owes  Michelle Arroyo., Grayson’s mother.  Their son Grayson was diagnosed with brain cancer at age 6 and has had 11 surgeries.

In the video, the collector repeatedly says Slade owes $160,000 in back child support -- but Michelle tells TMZ the number was around $130,000 ... until she agreed to reduce it to $95,000 in a recent court hearing.

Slade Smiley Gets Reduction

Jennifer Young, a Southern California advocate for children whose parents are not meeting their child support obligations, has been following Slade Smiley for years as he continues with excuse after excuse for not paying child support for his younger son, Grayson, who is battling brain cancer.

At one time, Gretchen Rossi allegedly had Bravo TV hide his income in her salary, to keep him from wage garnishment by the courts.  Would Bravo do this for him? Yes. As with everything concerning ‘ol slimy Slade, it goes back to his friend and former Coto de Caza neighbor, Scott Dunlop, producer and creator of the Real Housewives franchise.

Anyway, Slade got an adjustment to his court ordered payments, per Jen Young:
