I am one of Chris's best friends and it bothers me that anybody is even bringing him up. They were divorced before the show. Chris was devastated by it like anyone else would be and has now moved on.

True, you can trace IP addresses, but you can't really identify the person behind the address unless you get the law involved and THAT only happens under rare circumstances such as a murder investigation. You can pretty much say anything you want about a public figure I.e. TV star.
