Life is an amazing pre-game show before the big GAME in HEAVEN,and I can't wait! God has blessed me with so much: my family, my friends, my fiance' Jeff (who recently passed away-and it has been the most heartbreaking experience of my life) my happy go lucky spirit, my sense of humor, my determintion, my faith. God is the reason life is better, even when life is at it's worst(this really proved true to me in the mist of Jeff's death) I'm really quite simple......I'm super SILLY, I love life, my family, my Jeff, and my dearest of friends. I was so lucky to have a man in my life that spoiled me rotten and loved me like no one ever has. I have a bad taste in my mouth for people who are fake, manipulating, self-serving, and have nothing better to do then talk about someone else. Give it to me straight, even if that means you hate me. I am a big believer in not judging others cause as soon as you do, you will find yourself in the same situation one day. I've made my mistakes and am proud to say I try to learn from them. When you stop and listen to what others have to participate to life you actually learn so much about your own self. Women who don't take action or speak up for what they believe rarely make history! Imperfection is beauty, madness is genius & its better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring! I may not be perfect but I'm sure as hell always ME. Never be afraid to be yourself, don't change because others think you should, God made you the way you were for a reason...embrace it. Don't hide in make-up or clothes, or find value in outer beauty, that all fades, and then all you are left with is your true self at the end of the day. Look at that person in the mirror and make sure you are ok with who that is. I have so much left to do, and I wonder if I will ever have the time to do it all....hell, why not, look at Oprah. Ask my friends,I wear high heels with everything to the point where its actually funny. High heels should definitely be worn at all times, and absolutely to the pool (makes the cellulite not look so bad). Being girly is my favorite thing to do but kicking the boys butts while I'm wearing heels is even better. My parents have taught me everything I know and am proud to be. They are my heros, role models and most important people in my life. My brother and sister are two of the best people on earth despite how different we are. My family is my rock, my solidtude and my most prized possesion on this earth. I'm so blessed to have friends and family who love me unconditionally, keep me grounded , and make me laugh at life (especially when life gets tough) Funny small facts about me are: I love to be a total dork just to make someone laugh. I love to have a good time, and make sure others around me are having a good time. I wish I had bigger breasts and didn't have to go under the knife to get them. When the sky is blue I'm my happiest, and anyone who knows me, knows I live for the month of October. Halloween is my favorite holiday and yes I always dress up and no I don't have any kids yet either. I decorate for practically every holiday too! I retired from cooking when I tried to hard boil an egg in the microwave (it was not pretty)but I am working on those skills again now, I love to bake but don't have time. I workout cause I have too and care about being healthy. I am blessed to have the ability to be self-sufficent and take care of myself. I love to work and take pride in it. I'm so grateful I own a home and bought it all on my own. I absolutely love animals and even more so adore my two dogs(rocco and vito) who have become a part of my heart. I admire people who give back to this world either thru something as simple as a charity or just by devoting their time to unfortanate people. I hope to make a difference in some way while I am a part of this crazy place called earth. How was Beitzel considered among the 'rich' in OC? He worked for a living according to this profile. He was employed. Bringing in a paltry $1 million/yr. Meanwhile, the insurance lady is buying $1 million dollar boats. As for her not being attracted to him right away, alot of people don't have LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT with someone. Sometimes love takes time. EVEN IF SHE DIDNT LOVE HIM HE SEEMED HAPPY SO THATS ALL THAT MATTERS SINCE HE WAS DYING ANYWAYS. He spent his last time with a hot woman...good for him!

As his sister, it hurts just seeing how pathetic looking he had become, and also explains a little(although never enough) as to why he refused to let me know how bad he really was. Jeff always lived life to the fullest, and always planned to go out in a blaze of glory -- not quietly. I guess Gretchen was his final attempt at living what was left of his life to the fullest. I am glad she was there for him, no matter what anyone's motives were.

Gretchen is a nice girl and everyone who says anything bad about her is either older or uglier than her because she has never done anything but be nice! No one knows her previous relationship with Jeff but her and Jeff so back off of her and stop being JEALOUS. Just try being happy for someone other than yourselves.

my husband and i watch every episodeand feel strongly that you are very kind and caring person and how someone can envy you so much to try the outing at the reunion is so 8th grade and hateful. its sad that she wants your life so much she cant just be happy for you she tries to destry you because if she cant have it noone can. how scary to know people are snakes in the grass. it made tamara look so ugly and i know that she has dad issues, maybe thats what she envies about you is that jeff was a little older but now much so you had the lover the best friend aand a dad and it made tamara crazed. ive never seen such eveilness in a person. i wonder who her next victim is? gretchen you handled the interview with such class thru the cobra attack i was so proud of you she hates that your classy and poised and you never let her intimidate you and it was a further humiliation for tamaras pubic airing if her true self and she did set you up to get drunk if you watch she premeditates getting you drunk it was very calculated and if i was a jurer in a courtroom i would vote her guilty of a crime. grounds to sue if you ask me. and vicki trying to defend tamara just puts her in the same boat,birds of a feather honey.it does make us feel bad for everyone though becaus it seems so hard to make real friends that wont back stab so even if you have one or two remember thats all you need. best of luck and hope to see you as a talk show host of more serious issues not junk i know you would be good at it and you seem intelligent and proffesional people would relate to you.ta ta
Gretchen you did an amazing job on the "confessions" episode. What your relationship with Jeff was is his and your business only. Tamra has succeeded in making herself look ugly not only on the outside (drag queenish) but more importantly on the inside. From my perspective Jeff lived his life on his terms...and he chose to live his life with you. Everyone who has something to say needs to look at the other ladies who really deserve some criticism. Vicki is hateful to her husband, and only considers her needs and no one elses. Lynn and Jeana seem like nice ladies. Everything I dislike about Southern California women are summed up in Vicki and Tamra. I hope they cancel Vicki and Tamra and the show goes on with Gretch, Lynn and Jeana. Who needs fake bitches who disrepect their families and themselves while spending ridiculous amounts of money trying to "be someone" in this economy. It makes me sick and BRAVO needs to give us a positive female role models (i.e., like women who stick by their dying fiancees while still trying to live life) instead of mean spirited has beens whose only goal is to disrespect those who can't afford to buy them a rolex. Divorce Vicki Don. Tamra move to another country.

I think that there was truly something there that was special. Also in one episode Gretchen said that her and Jeff promised that they would 'live their life' cancer or not... who knows maybe Jeff demanded that she try to have some fun!
Gretchen going to Bass lake to enjoy life with her family was not a betrayal. I had stage 3 of an aggressive invasive cancer and was told my year long treatment of chemo and radiation was the harshest.
My kids and my boyfriend continued life and at times I told them to go do things. When I was suffering I did not want anyone to see me. And yes, maybe Jeff did tell her to see people. I know I said it was ok, but he never wanted to. I personally think most of the woman are ridiculous. Lynne, Gretchen and Jeana aren't so bad.
Bravo, have a show of real women, struggling to make ends meet, while being happy with few material possessions. Afraid of positive TV and uplifting messages?
