I met Jeff Many years ago in Michigan at a local restaurant, J. Alexanders in Livonia. He was ALWAYS kind and respectful. He would come in every Wednesday evening after having dinner with his children who meant the world to him. As it turned out, I went there every Wednesday with a friend. You would never know he was wealthy. He was always a VERY, VERY, humble man who never EVER bragged. He was always in jeans with his cowboy boots on. He was very funny and very generous. After my friends and I got to know him, he told us about his past, how poor he was once upon a time. He was ready to sell his business and then he hit it big. He said "I have more money now than I could ever spend in a lifetime". One of the servers at the restaurant was a struggling, single mom having a tough time paying the bills. He gave her 10k just to help her out. He never offered this info. We pried it out of him. I remember him saying how he "adopted" the young girl who lived in the house behind his children (she was a friend of his daughter)because her mom was always working to make ends meet and he wanted to look after her so she wouldn't be home alone. I guess that's where the reports saying he had 4 children came in. He did consider her one of his own. We truly enjoyed his company. He was really down to earth and as far as I could tell, never forgot where he came from and how hard things were before he made it big. I miss him. Watching Housewives of OCD and reading Gretchens bio made me sick!! Jeff was alive when she said all of those horrible things. What was he thinking???? She is truly a superficial phoney bitch who was obviously after his money and nothing more!! I don't know why he was married so many times. Maybe there was another side to him that I didn't know, but the man I saw and talked to as a friend at that local restaurant was a nice, nice man who loved his family and was compassionate. He cared about others less fortunate because he remembered how hard it was to be struggling. It also made me sad to see him on the show because he was so thin. Not the man I remember. I miss you Jeff. May You rest in peace!

i would like to know how all jeff, chris, and Gretchen's friends and family find this blog and feel the need to post. its pretty funny, i think.

And Jeff was a pretty good guy except when it came to women. His sister Judy nailed it when she said Jeff was too stupid to know when he had a good wife. LOL and RIP

Clearly if Gretchen cared about a ill boyfriend she wouldn't have signed up on a TV show. Her getting on was due to Gina who seems to have a connection on the show (as for Slade I not sure how his name is coming up and what he has to do with this) She was hot and clearly a user and that why they wanted her on the show. Like any of these woman wouldn't want to get a crack at her shoes. There all money grubs. Some like Vicky and Gina don't have the assets anymore to get a free ride.
I want to know what happen to Quinn who was a breath of fresh air as far a nice went. She just disappeared and with no mention to why. Anyone know?
What I love it how these woman all flash the cash yet all seem to be one bill away from losing it all. Gina taking in tenants. Lori better keep her man happy or she’ll be back into a apt. Ghetto queen Nene, just got evicted from her house and it turns out all the others have homes on the market and or have filed bankruptcy.
Next time my insurance company screams increase I going to scream Vicky who clearly is making too much money. Who in there right mind would use her as a agent. She clearly hosing her clients.
The NY housewife’s have one spending thousand on designer dresses and doesn't even have flooring on her dump apt.
I would think Ivana Trump, Mrs Hilton, Heather Mills would make a much better housewife since they have money.
Finding these nouveau riche phony’s maybe the end of the shows popularity. There plenty of rich who this show could find to play themselves.
Why not find some real money. I hear Coto isn't even considered the best neighborhood from realtor friends. I sell home and all these homes Gina shows are just cheap outdated finishes. Most of these homes shown on this show wouldn’t be considered rich homes just by how close they are to there neighbor and the cheap finish. Look at the handrails. There are apt grade.
I noticed Gina never actually sells these homes but rents them. Just Gina keep telling yourself the a blimp in the bubble. You have 4 house ha you have 4 mortgage and might have nothing else.
So how got the 4 million dollar house Gretchen and Jeff lived in or was that a rental. How much did the Gretchen score?
